I wrote this when I was in that Louis Carroll phase and I spent my nights at work reading his stuff online. I really like the idea of just making up new words and assigning them meanings, because that is what linguistics is all about.
Instead of gibberish words, I wanted some of these to look like they could be real words that you just don't know. What I got was a mix of realistic-looking, nonsense-looking, and words I thought I made up but actually exist, like maccular.
Probably this is one of my favorite poems.
