This is Lucas, the star of MOTHER 3, rendered in Othello chips on an irregularly-sized gameboard.
Here is Ness, the protagonist of the SNES classic EarthBound, depicted on a playing card.
Here is the 1985 NES classic Pinball, as it might have looked as a stand-alone pinball machine. Due to the limitations of physics, the bonus stage would still likely have to be handled as a video game.
Despite its ergonomic, pixel-realistic bike and its lifelike side-view graphics, for some reason the arcade version of Excitebike never caught on...
This is a modified version of a picture I took in Phoenix, AZ. I was going for a kind of 'apocalyptic' feel. It might appear, at first, to be a simple color inversion job, but there was a little more to it.
