The name of this song comes from a chapter in my book about a terrible emo band called Starlight Echo whose van my protagonist pees on.  It's a title that has really nothing to to with the song it titles.  Does titling to.  Inflicts titlement on.

Here are the distinctive characteristics of this song: repeated 4 chords, no pick, muffled vocals.  Almost just like nepenthe, don't you think?  Other things to note are the lack of a chorus and the speedy tempo and use of second person in the lyrics (a rarity!).

One line people seem to be getting tripped up on is the final line of the second verse, 'but i still drank the blood you bled.'  What you should do is think of two or three ways that can be taken, then pick the most disgusting one of the bunch.  If you're thinking about vampires, you're too far above the belt.

If you feel like the song is gory and violent, try picturing the opening lines as questions that the speaker expects to get a negative response to, like asking someone who spent too long in the bathroom if they fell in the toilet.
