twisting the knife My first project was this book called Decadent Duplicity, as the button on the left will make evident. But it sucked. Seriously, it just wasn't good at all. This book here, Twisting the Knife, is probably more demonstrative of some kind of writing acumen. Unfortunately, I can't just post the manuscript and let everyone read it. That would take away the whole point of getting published and producing a book, wouldn't it? What I can do is give a summary and put up a few representative sample chapters. If you read them and you'd like to skim the rough draft and tell me what you think, e-mail me at jbaugher@peachycomics.com and let me know. This is a story about a young man named Jonas and his descent into depression, fueled by an unhealthy obsession with a redhead named Melanie who does nothing but terrible things. It's been described as 'haunting,' 'completely unpalatable,' and 'brilliant.' [chapter 3/10] driving to paducah [chapter 2/5] buckyball [chapter 11/20] starlight echo
